3yr old wedding jitters

Tonight at 9:10pm, Megan came out of her room and told me that she was having trouble sleeping. I asked why. She said, "because I'm wearing my white dress and I'm getting married tomorrow!". She said she and "Avalon" (her pretend friend - the name changes) were talking about it. Just now she came out of the room and told Rachel the same thing. This time, she said, "A boy and me are going to get married and we're going to dance".

Prepping for Jenna

We have baby room #2 ready go go (except the dresser). We had a dresser, but it turned out some of the drawers were cracked during delivery. Hopefully the new one comes in soon!!

My semester of School-work is quickly drawing to a close. I just need to present a paper - I've already written it. Then I need to offer substantive critique of my classmates' papers.

Rachel is very ready for Jenna to arrive, and for Rachel to be finished with school for a while!

Megan Cleans

Megan loves to clean. She plays this game anytime Rachel and I are busy working on things around the house. Or, if she finds a bathcloth or rag. She cleans her window nearly every day!

She is also fascinated with our Roomba vacuum.

Megan's Daddy moment

The other day Megan wanted to snuggle up to me to take a nap. She had her arms as far around me as she could stretch them, and she said, "da" in her little voice. I know it wasn't really her calling me "daddy", and it was probably a coincidence. But, it was basically the greatest moment of my week last week!!

Catching up on Facebook

Pretty much the only good thing I see about facebook is the ability to keep in touch with people that I wouldn't otherwise be able to find. Having said that, it's a pretty big strength!

I've found lots of old church friends and school friends!
