Jenna's development

Tonight is the first time, that I remember, Jenna wanted to give everyone hugs and kisses before bed. Usually she will be trying to avoid sleep - so much so that she's running away from everyone. She usually shakes her head and squirms making it hard to give her precious hugs and kisses. And yet tonight was different. I put her in her pajamas, and she saw Megan and went and gave her a hug, a kiss, then another hug. Of course, Jenna's kisses are more of licks than actual kisses, she made her point. She understands the ritual takes place each night, and has decided to be a part of it. With time I hope she will come to understand it as an expression of love - as Megan does. Megan does not let a night go by without making sure everyone has hugs and kisses. I sure love my daughters.

Crib jumper

This little girl learned to climb out of her crib last night. My worst fear (for a one year old) has been realized.

Jenna's first boo-boos

Jenna finally started to get her share of boo-boos. She didn't even get a bruise until after her 1st birthday. Then the next week, she fell and hit her head. Today she fell and bit her lip. Thankfully neither were serious or will leave a permanent mark. But, it still hurts to see a little one so upset and in so much pain. Big sister was more than a little worried both times.

Jenna's Birthday a Smash!!

We had a blast celebrating Jenna's Birthday. Granny, Nana and Papa, all made it in for the celebration. We tried to make it as much like Megan's 1st as possible so that nobody can be jealous later on :)
