Playhouse Progress

Today the roof was finished before dark. After dark, the sides and eaves were attached. The playhouse now has 3 sides installed, and is rock solid - it shakes no more. The front siding will go on Saturday along with installing the front window. We may also trim the shingles to look pretty :) Nana also finished up the loft area, which is above the porch (and will be a great place to play for elementary aged Megan and Jenna).
The side you are looking at will have a window on it. We just didn't have a need for cutting it out yet, since it is accessible from the inside.

Here are some of the better pics from this past month. In summary, Jenna has been growing, Megan has been learning all sorts of things, and Daddy and Nana are building the girls a playhouse. Mom has been working hard and enjoying every minute she gets with the girls!

New Desk Setup

Having Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket prompted me to make a computer purchase that I've wanted for a while. I read a lot of documents from monitor, and the newer wide-screen layout doesn't fit the page layout very well. This remedies that problem...

3yr old wedding jitters

Tonight at 9:10pm, Megan came out of her room and told me that she was having trouble sleeping. I asked why. She said, "because I'm wearing my white dress and I'm getting married tomorrow!". She said she and "Avalon" (her pretend friend - the name changes) were talking about it. Just now she came out of the room and told Rachel the same thing. This time, she said, "A boy and me are going to get married and we're going to dance".
